Every day we have a selection of up to 7 of the following house beers on tap, plus a number of guest beers from both Danish and foreign breweries. There may also be unlisted seasonal or unique brews available at any time. We also have a selection of bottled beers.

Atlantic IPA

IPA has its origins in beers brewed for the colonies in India, with a high level of hopping and alcohol in order to survive the sea voyage without spoilage. American brewers have expanded the style, using American hop varieties, and Atlantic IPA takes the best from each side of the ocean with a blend of American Cascade and English Challenger hops.

-

Été

Inspired by the Belgian blonde ales, Éte (summer) is a light, refreshing summer ale with a high white lacy head of foam. A light maltiness and a complex flowery aroma give this beer plenty to reward the drinker.

-

Ellhorn

Ellhorn is the Norwegian for elderflower, which we have added to complement the hops in this lightly refreshing, aromatic summer brew.

-

Harvest Ale

A golden ale in the English style, brewed from Maris Otter, the king of the malts. English hops (East Kent Goldings if you're wondering) give the fresh, grassy aroma and a light bitterness to balance the sweetness of the malt. Cricket anyone?

-

VesterWeisse

A wheat beer in the German style, VesterWeisse gets its name from our street (Vestergade) and its fruity aroma and slightly cloudy appearance from the special yeast used in the brewing process. While it has a full body, it still gives a clean, refreshing sensation on the palate and is an ideal summer beer.

-

William Wallace

This Scottish-style ale is one of our lighter beers in terms of alcohol content, but delivers a rich, malty flavour with a full body. The hop bitterness is low, allowing the malts to dominate, and a slight hint of peat smoke rounds off the experience.

-

James Brown Ale

This beer is inspired by the American Brown Ales, which in contrast to the Britsh versions are less malt-dominated and let the hops contribute to the flavour. We have spiced James Brown with Amarillo hops, for a flowery citrus aroma to go with the malty, slightly sweet body.

-

Cole Porter

Brewed from no fewer than 7 malts, our Porter is a deep black in colour with a rich creamy head, and a massive depth of flavour, while remaining well-balanced and is the perfect accompaniment to a dessert.

-

Stevie Ray

A lager like Stevie Ray is light and refreshing with a golden colour and a cleanly bitter flavour. Just like any other lager. But we have let the hops have their say too in a big way, giving a complex flowery bouquet and a citrus note to the taste. Needless to say, we don't filter this beer, so the malts can have their say too.

-

Schlager

Schlager Lager is the dark counterpart to Stevie Ray. It is slightly darker, and brewed in the German style with over 80% Münich Malt and Czech Saaz hops. An aromatic, malty beer with the fresh taste from the Saaz.

-

Smokin'

Here is a Pale Ale with a difference. We have smoked the malt over beechwood in our own kitchens, which adds a new dimension to this otherwise classically-brewed ale with English hop varieties.
